- HJR 4 — Legislative authority over drug legalization
Would give only the legislature authority to legalize marijuana, narcotics or other psychoactive substances, removing citizen initiatives as a route for those changes. It does not itself legalize or newly prohibit a particular substance.
- HJR 6 — English as the official language
Would designate English as the official language in the constitution and require its use in public proceedings, documents, instruction and other acts of public institutions, except where federal law requires otherwise.
- Proposition 1 — Reproductive freedom and privacy
Would protect private reproductive decisions, including abortion before viability and afterward in medical emergencies involving life or serious physical-health risks. It protects lawful assistance and providers from penalties, while preserving malpractice claims and conscience protections. It does not create a state duty to pay for care.
- HB 932 advisory question — Official state gun preference
Asks voters to choose one of six firearms as their preferred official state gun. The result is advisory: a future legislature would need to act to make a designation.
