Two statewide public questions verified in the Election Division guide and county sample ballots. Local casino and school referendums excluded.

• Public Question 1 — Bail eligibility for additional offenses

  Would extend denial of bail to other offenses when that evidentiary condition is met and the state proves, by clear and convincing evidence, that release conditions cannot reasonably protect another person or the community.

• Public Question 2 — City and town judges’ residency

  Would allow a city or town judge to live anywhere in the court’s county or in the closest bordering Indiana county, measured from the city or town boundary to the county line.
