- IL26-001 — Parent and guardian rights in public schools
Would restore the 2024 statute. It shortens the records deadline to ten business days, broadens record access and restores medical-service notifications. It removes several 2025 provisions from this statute, including specified nondiscrimination, abuse-notice, enrollment, language-access and special-education language; rights independently protected by other laws are not automatically repealed.
- IL26-638 — Sex verification for girls’ school sports
Would prohibit students defined as biologically male from female-only interschool sports. Students joining female-only teams or events must provide a health-care-provider form verifying sex through specified biological criteria. It covers public K–12 schools and participating private schools.
- IP26-645 — Repeal the high-income tax and restrict income-based taxes
Would repeal that tax before collections begin and prohibit state and local taxes on individual income, its receipt or amounts measured by it. Companion non-income-tax credits, exemptions and deductions remain. The high-income tax is the only existing tax explicitly named for repeal.
